- The UWL already has one of the best graduate employment rates in the UK with 96% of its graduates landing jobs within 6 months of graduating.
- The UWL is in the top quartile for salaries of graduates entering full-time employment in the UK.
- The UWL is recognized in the higher education sector, with two nominations in the prestigious Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards 2017 (THELMAs), in the categories of ‘Outstanding Leadership and Management Team’ and ‘Outstanding Strategic Planning Team’.
Speaking of the recent successes, the University’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter John said, these outstanding results are further evidence of the UWL’s ambitious and well executed strategic plan ‘Ambition 2018’, which is underpinned by the university’s investment in infrastructure, academic staff and the curriculum, all of which is reflected positively in the quality of the UWL’s teaching. According to Prof. John, the university has invested over £120million in infrastructure to enhance student experience. “This latest outstanding performance confirms the excellent progress the University of West London continues to make in delivering high quality, career focused education programs which transform the lives of our students,” he noted.
